Utepils Trail Loppet

The Loppet Field Day and Utepils Trail Loppet takes place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at Trailhead in Theodore Wirth Parkway (within Wirth Park). The weekend features a Field Day on Saturday with untimed youth runs and activities, and a Trail Loppet on Sunday for runners of all levels. Runners choose from Half Marathon, Half Half: 10K, and 5K.

The Half and 10K traverse hilly, urban-trail sections in Minneapolis’s largest regional park, while the 5K is flatter with a mix of asphalt and dirt. After finishing, participants are greeted with music and a free Utepils beer (ID required). A family-friendly atmosphere rounds out the weekend.
