Valdosta 5K

The Valdosta 5K is a running event held annually in Valdosta, Georgia, with the 2025 race scheduled for July 4th. The race benefits the Valdosta State University Cross Country Programs. The 5K course starts on Sustella Avenue and loops through Baytree Road, North Oak Street, Moore Street, Williams Street, Mary Street, and back to Sustella Avenue, finishing in the VSU Complex parking lot.

Awards are given to overall and master male and female runners, as well as top finishers in various age groups. Entry fees are $15 in advance and $20 on race day, with a family discount available before the event. The course closes one hour after the start.
