VC Hornet Hustle

VC Hornet Hustle in Valley Center, Kansas is a family-friendly community running event organized entirely by volunteers from Abilene, West, Wheatland Elementary and Valley Center Intermediate School. The lineup includes a 5K Road Race, a 2-Mile Road Race, a 1-Mile Run/Walk on the VCIS grounds, plus youth events: a 1/4-Mile Fun Run for Kindergarten and 1st grade and a Pre-K 50-yard dash. The main races start and finish at VCIS and loop through Valley Center; both are timed events.

Proceeds benefit the four schools, and food trucks add a festive atmosphere. There’s a No Hustle option to get a T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
