Event overview
The VentureQuest Adventure Race takes place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Fountainhead Regional Park in Fairfax Station, Virginia. The event is produced by EX2 Adventures and is the 22nd edition of VentureQuest. The race has attracted close to 4,500 athletes across its history. Fountainhead Regional Park has hosted previous editions, most recently in 2021.
Format and logistics
The event offers multiple timed course options. Disciplines on course include trekking, paddling, mountain biking, and navigation. Total distance or time varies by course. Entries are available for solo participants and for teams of up to four people; team members travel together for the entire race. Referral rewards are offered: refer three people for a $25 refund and refer six people for a second $25 refund.
