Veteran's Day Defenders Dash 10k

The Veteran's Day Defenders Dash 10k is a scenic running event held at Burke Lake Park in Fairfax Station, Virginia. The course combines paved roads and well-maintained trails around the lake, featuring minimal elevation changes and some natural trail roots. Participants can choose between a 5k or 10k distance, with walkers welcome.

The event offers a chip-timed race, finisher medals, and technical event shirts. Water stations are available along the course, and restrooms are conveniently located near the ice cream parlor. The race supports the Yellow Ribbon Fund, aiding post-9/11 service members and their families during recovery.
