Veteran's Day Defenders Dash 10k

The 2025 Veteran's Day Defenders Dash is a scenic running event held at Burke Lake Park, featuring 5k and 10k races. Participants can enjoy a combination of paved roads and trail courses around the lake, with some roots and minimal elevation changes. Runners receive a finisher’s medal, technical event shirt, and chip timing.

The event supports the Yellow Ribbon Fund, aiding wounded service members and their families. Registration fees are $30 for the 5k and $45 for the 10k, with race day price increases. Walkers are welcome, and virtual race options are available.
