Veterans Marathon

The Veterans Marathon and Heroes 5K is an annual event held in Columbia City, Indiana, honoring U.S. veterans. The 17th edition, scheduled for November 8, 2025, features a full marathon (two loops), a half marathon, and a Heroes 5K.

The courses are USATF certified and showcase a gently rolling countryside, starting downtown at West Van Buren and North Chauncey Streets. The event honors the Space Force and Columbia City Fire Department, with proceeds benefiting local veterans and fire department organizations. Post-race festivities include refreshments and unique limestone awards made in Indiana.
