Course and purpose
The course runs up and over the Veterans Memorial Bridge in both eastbound and westbound directions. A short section through Jock Leighton Park is included before the bridge to reach the correct race distance. Eastbound traffic will use the bike lane and westbound traffic will use the sidewalk for safety. The Palm City Chamber of Commerce organizes the event with participation from local veterans and dignitaries. A portion of the event proceeds is designated for Southeast Florida Honor Flight.
