About the race
Veterans Salute 5K and 10K in Concord, North Carolina, hosted by Fifth Third Bank Downtown Concord. The USATF-certified courses are 5K NC24004DF and 10K NC21008DF. The 5K starts on McCachern Blvd beside the Cabarrus County Parking Lot, looping on Corban Ave, Union, and Greenway, finishing via the Downtown Connector; the 10K adds a longer Greenway segment through Lawndale, Patton Ave, McAllister, SunnySide, Winfield, Ingleside, Caldwell and Hillcrest before returning to downtown.
An optional Fun Run (1 mile) is also offered. This patriotic event honors service members, with early registration perks, hoodie for first 100 10K registrants, and awards for top finishers and age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
