The Village Creek 10k/25k Trail Run takes place on January 24, 2026 at Village Creek State Park near Wynne, AR (201 CR 754). Distances offered:

Registration closes Thu, Jan 22 at 11:59 PM CT. There is no race day registration. 10K participants will receive a 10K shirt only; 25K participants will receive a 25K hoodie only. Deadline to guarantee a hoodie or shirt is January 14, 2026. No refunds are offered. Entries are not transferable to the following year but may be transferred to another person before 01/23/2025. This is the event's 13th year.
Course and logistics
Village Creek State Park covers nearly 7,000 acres and has a multi-use trail system of just over 26 miles. Both the 25K and 10K are out-and-back courses that follow trail markers. The 25K route starts at the bicycle entrance and follows markers 13–18, continues north past 19 toward 20 for the turnaround. The 10K follows markers 13–16 and returns to the finish. Aid stations are located at approximate halfway points for both races. This is a cup-free race; participants must bring their own bottles.
The course includes creek crossings, mud, leaf and stick cover, steep ridgelines, and a rolling pipeline section. The start/finish is at the edge of the lower campground near bath houses; camping and cabins are available nearby. The 25K has a 6-hour time limit and requires a bib check at the turnaround by approximately 3 hours 15 minutes. A tub of buttercream icing and warm homemade cinnamon rolls are provided at the finish.
