Virginia Run for Cancer
The Virginia Run for Cancer is a 24-hour solo and 24-hour team running event held in Hampton, VA, at 1255 Big Bethel Road. Registration opens 1 Jan and is limited to 200 entries. The registration fee is $75 for both individual and team members. Team registration lets teammates register and note their team and team captain during the process. The team with the highest total miles receives a perpetuity plaque that is passed to the next year’s team. Pacers are allowed after dark.
Race details
The event uses a flat, 3.75-mile all-dirt nature park trail. The course is USATF certified (VA12075RT). Awards include engraved plaques for 1st place male, 1st place female, top team, and top fundraiser. Wooden plaques are given to runners who complete milestone distances, and technical T-shirts are provided to all entrants.

Additional recognitions include course records (male 135 miles, female 131 miles, team 1052.75 miles), 500-Mile Club jackets, and 1000-mile buckles. Walkers of all abilities are welcome. Volunteer lap counters are provided. On-site liquid refreshments are available; runners should bring their own food and hydration.
