2026 Waddling Warriors Adventure Race
The 2026 Waddling Warriors Adventure Race is scheduled for May 2, 2026 in Bagley, Wisconsin, with headquarters at Wyalusing State Park and the Hugh Harper Indoor Group Camp. Team LadyPenguins Fundraising organizes the event and is offering two race length options: a 13-hour course and a 5-hour course. The 13-hour entry includes one night of dorm-style lodging; both events include maps, canoe use, souvenir apparel, insurance, and a post-race meal.
Race format and logistics
Both race lengths are off-road, multidisciplinary adventure races that include trekking/running, biking, canoeing, orienteering, and team challenges. Canoes are provided.
Waddling Warriors Adventure Race - 13HR distances:
- Bike: ~60k (35-40 miles), ~3,000'-3,200' elevation
- Trek/land navigation: ~18k (9-12 miles), ~800'-1,000' elevation
- Paddle: ~10k (6-7 miles)
Waddling Warriors Adventure Race - 5HR distances:
- Bike: ~15k (9-10 miles), ~800'-1,000' elevation
- Trek/land navigation: ~10k (6-18 miles), ~400'-1,000' elevation
- Paddle: ~8k (5 miles)
Teams are usually 2-4 racers who must stay together for the event; solo entries are allowed. The event is USARA sanctioned; participants must hold a single-day USARA license or an annual membership.
