The Wakefield Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Lake Quannapowitt, 1 Church Street, Wakefield, MA 01880. The event is organized by the Wakefield Track and Field Boosters. All proceeds support Wakefield Memorial High School cross country and track and field programs.

Logistics
Activities on Thanksgiving morning include a kids' fun run, a costume contest, a pre-race warm up, and a timed 5K. Participants are asked to bring reusable water bottles; a town water truck will be available to fill them. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for athletes registered by October 17; shirts are guaranteed to athletes registered by November 12. Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and first through third place in age groups.
Bib pickup is located at The Savings Bank Community Room, 351 Main Street, Wakefield, on the days before the race and on race day. Professional race timing is provided by Second Wind Timing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
