About the race
The Walk Across Sumner 5k and Fun Run in Gallatin, Tennessee, features a 5k option and a 1-mile Fun Run, starting near 1333 Touchdown Drive at Triple Creek Park. Runners will traverse the park via a greenway, with glow sticks and blacklights adding a festive, glow‑in atmosphere. The event supports Physical Education programs in Sumner County.
The Walk Across Sumner program is a county-wide effort encouraging participants to complete 34.5 miles over four weeks, either on neighborhood trails or local greenways, and to submit a WAS Walking Log or Activity BINGO for a prize.
