Walk, Run, Read for Literacy

Walk, Run, Read for Literacy! is a family-friendly running and walking event in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, at City Park/Fort Sherman Park. In its fourth year, it offers a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, 5K, 10K Run/Walk, Kids Dash, and a Virtual Run. Kids 6 and Under participate free in any event.

All races begin in City Park and follow an out-and-back along the Idaho Centennial Trail toward Post Falls, with a turnaround before Highway 95 for longer distances; Kids Dash stays inside the park. The morning also features a book swap, games, and a community gathering. Proceeds support The Literacy Project of North Idaho. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
