Course, aid, and rules

The course follows the Whitetail Trail around Bennington Lake as an outer loop of 5-mile length. It is mostly double track with some single track sections and about 370 ft of elevation gain per loop. Aid station offerings include standard items such as potato chips, gels, gummies, and some distinctive items like peanut butter and pickle wraps; Skratch electrolyte drink will be provided. Pacers are not allowed by permit; friends and family may be on open trails but may not give aid outside the aid station. Spectators are allowed but parking is limited and organizers request one car per runner. Dogs are not permitted on course (they may be at the start/finish on leash). Camping at Bennington Lake is not allowed due to site access restrictions. Refund policy: 50% refund available by January 31; no refunds on or after February 1.
