About the race
The Waterloo Optimist 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held in Waterloo, Illinois, organized by the Waterloo IL Optimist Club. The 22nd edition takes place on November 1, 2025, at Rogers Elementary School. Participants can choose between a competitive 5K run or a fun 5K walk along city streets featuring rolling hills in an out-and-back course.
