Wawayanda Trail Fest is a trail running event held at Wawayanda State Park, with the start/finish and parking at the park boat ramp/boathouse. Distances offered:

- 50 Mile
- 50K
- Half Marathon
The event course is a full loop of more than 26 miles. The half marathon uses one loop (about 13 to 14 miles). The 50K follows the full loop (north and south). The 50 Mile consists of the full loop twice plus the south loop. The 100K is two full loops. The route includes rhododendron tunnels, marsh bridges, gravel road and single-track sections, and only two road crossings, both inside the park.
Aid stations, crew, pacers and facilities
There are three aid stations: Maraschino, BaseCamp, and Thirsty Dog (water only). Maraschino is roughly 7 miles into the first loop and does not allow crews, spectators, or drop bags. BaseCamp is adjacent to the start/finish and parking area and is the designated location for crews, pacers and spectators; crew assistance is restricted to the marked area. Pacer allowances vary by distance: pacers are not permitted for the half marathon; pacers may join 50K, 50 Mile and 100K runners at designated mile points. Camping onsite is permitted Friday night for a per-group fee. Every finisher receives a finisher award; podium awards are given by gender and non-binary categories for each distance.
