West Virginia Trilogy
The West Virginia Trilogy is a three-day stage race on and around Spruce Knob, on the Eastern Continental Divide. It takes place over Columbus Day weekend, October 10–12, 2025, and is hosted by the West Virginia Mountain Trail Runners with race headquarters at the Spruce Knob Mountain Center’s 400-acre outdoor education facility in the Monongahela National Forest near Circleville, WV.
Race format and entries
The event package and individual race options include:
- 50 km - Day One
- 50 miles - Day Two
- 13.1 miles (half marathon) - Day Three
- 5 km Run For The Hills
There is a Full Trilogy entry that covers the three main stages. Listed entry fees are $240 for the Full Trilogy, $100 for the individual 50 km, $120 for the individual 50 mile, $60 for the half marathon, and $40 for the 5 km. Registration opens May 1, 2025, and prices increase after August 16, 2025. Individual events are open to ages 18 to 99.
