Event overview
The Whisker Walk/Run is a fundraising run and walk organized by True Rescue at Riverview Pavilion, 1964 Davidson St, Nashville, TN 37206. The event supports True Rescue and its medical clinic for cats and kittens. True Rescue operates a 7,000 sq ft cage-free facility with 15 rooms and cares for over 350 cats and kittens. Dogs are allowed to participate if they remain on a leash and are cleaned up after.

Logistics and extras
Registration includes a Whisker Walk T-shirt and a cat ear headband; sizes are selected during registration and are limited. Early packet pickup is available at True Rescue, 12110 Lebanon Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN. Vendor booth rental is for a 12' x 12' outdoor space; vendors must supply their own tents, tables, chairs, and weights, and electricity is not available. Stakes are prohibited.
Awards are given to the top three finishers by gender in the 5K and 10K. First place is awarded by gender in these age brackets: 18 and under; 19-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and over.
