Event overview
The Whiskey Run Chattanooga is an annual race held on January 1, 2026 at the Tennessee Riverpark Wheland Foundry Trailhead on Middle Street in Chattanooga, TN. The event offers three distances:
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5K
All distances have a 3.5 hour time limit. Walkers are allowed in the half marathon. Electronic timing and scoring will be used. Each finisher receives a commemorative shirt (or optional hoodie), a Whiskey Series finishing medal, and whiskey sampling is offered on site.
Logistics and race services
Packet pickup takes place at Chattanooga Fleet Feet on December 29 (3:00 pm to 5:00 pm) and December 30 (3:00 pm to 6:00 pm), with race-day pickup at the International Towing Museum parking area. Parking is available at the International Towing Museum and the Calvary Pavilion behind the museum. The start and finish are located at the Wheland Trailhead Riverpark.
Aid stations are placed along each course and stocked with water, Gatorade, bananas, and energy gels. Specific aid station mile locations are provided for each distance. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall; participants must be present on event day to receive medals. Age groups include 20 and under, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
