The White Cane 5K, held in Williamsport, PA, is a unique inclusive event supporting North Central Sight Services. It features a timed 5K run/walk, a relaxed untimed 1-mile walk, and the special Blindfold Challenge—a 5K run where participants compete blindfolded with a sighted guide in two-person teams. The race takes place on Reach Road and welcomes runners of all ages and abilities, including both blind and sighted participants.

Blindfolds and tethers are provided for the challenge, enhancing awareness and empathy. Early registrants receive a goodie bag, shirt, and medal. The event promotes community engagement while raising funds for vision-related services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
