About the race
The White Pine Solstice Runs, held in Tooele, Utah, offer challenging trail races through the scenic Oquirrh Mountains. Participants can choose from a 55K ultra, a half marathon, or an 8.5-mile course. The 55K features rugged terrain with about 12,500 feet of elevation gain, summiting multiple peaks over 9,000 and 10,000 feet, including White Pine and Kelsey Peaks.
The courses traverse steep canyon roads, single-track trails through aspens and pines, and ridgelines with expansive views of surrounding mountain ranges and valleys. The event emphasizes a natural, low-key atmosphere without flashy amenities, focusing on the beauty and challenge of the mountain trails. It is USATF sanctioned.
