Whitefish Trail Blazer

Whitefish Trail Blazer, held in Whitefish, Montana, is a weekend of trail running presented by Flathead Running Company to benefit Whitefish Legacy Partners and the Whitefish Trail. The centerpiece is the Blazer 50k ultramarathon on Saturday: 31 miles with about 6,300 feet of elevation gain on single and double-track trails, including ascents toward the summit of Big Mountain, with start/finish at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Sunday offers a half marathon, 10k+, 5k+, and a Family Fun Run through Beaver Lakes with varying elevation.

Runners receive a custom buff, nutrition, and a finisher patch; post-race celebrations include lunch, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Virtual options exist for all distances. It’s part of the Flathead Race Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
