Event overview
Wicked Worm is a trail running event at Robinette’s Apple Haus near Grand Rapids, MI on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The event takes place on technical singletrack and orchard trails that form part of the West Michigan Trail Runners (WMTR) course. Parking is available along the race course; participants may bring chairs, canopies, coolers, and personal food or drinks. Breakfast is provided for racers after the 10K.
Race format and logistics
Distances and formats:
- 10K
- 6 Hour - loop distance 4.2 miles
- 12 Hour - loop distance 4.2 miles
The 10K follows the full WMTR course around and on the north side of the orchard. The 6 Hour and 12 Hour races cover the orchard and sections 1 and 3 of the WMTR course. The 6 Hour and 12 Hour events are each capped at 50 participants. Pacers are permitted for the 12 Hour race; each runner may have one pacer at a time. All pacers must check in and out at the main aid station and sign the Robinette’s waiver. Racers may drop at any time but must check in at the main aid station when finished. Packet pickup is held on race day only. Race gifts, finisher medals, and downloadable photos are provided; shirts may be unavailable for late registrants.
