Course, support and awards
The course runs along the Suwannee River and through trails lined with large oak and cypress trees. The race benefits the Florida Trail Association; organizers report having donated over $50,000 to that organization. All finishers receive a Wild Florida Trail Run shirt and a finisher medal. Top three overall male and female finishers in each distance receive awards. Vendor and trail swag will be available at the event. The event also features a multi-race "Florida Man Challenge" that requires completion of three specified races at their longest distances within one calendar year.
