About the race
The Willapa Trail Festival is a multi-distance trail running event held in Chehalis, Washington, with races from 5K to 100 miles. Runners start and finish at Owl and Olive Cafe, using the flat, fast Willapa Hills State Park Trail along the Chehalis River. Distances offered: 5K, 25K, 50K, 50M, 100M.
The course features an out-and-back extension for the 100M/50M through Pe Ell to Pluvius Hill crest, with aid stations and no 50M cutoff; the 100M has a 34-hour limit. The event supports trail preservation, funds maintenance, offers overnight camping, and promotes a relaxed, community atmosphere for local communities.
