About the race
Chord Energy Williston Marathon is a premier endurance event in Williston, North Dakota, staged on the Williston Basin International Airport campus. Runners can choose from a Boston-qualifying Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, or Purple Power 5K Run/Walk. The standout feature is running on the airport runway, with clearly marked routes and support from six water stations, on-site restrooms, and volunteer guidance.
The race is chip-timed, starting and finishing at the Overland Aviation building, and serves as a fundraiser for the Upper Missouri Relay For Life.
