Willow River Run
The Willow River Run is a chip-timed running event held in New Richmond, Wisconsin, starting and finishing at Mary Park's center pavilion. It features 5K and 10K run/walk options on an out-and-back course. The 5K route extends to Oak Ridge (147th), while the 10K loops around Fox Run before returning to Mary Park.
The course is clearly marked with orange cones and paint, supported by corner marshals and police at major intersections, with ambulance sweep coverage. Water stations are available—one for the 5K and two for the 10K. Participants receive refreshments and snacks at the finish.
Awards are given in 10-year age groups and overall winners receive medals. Registration is online only, with race day sign-up available but no guaranteed shirts after June 30. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
