The Wind Vineyards Reindeer Run/Walk takes place on November 28, 2025, at Wind Vineyards in Tappahannock, VA (5178 Richmond Highway, 22560). The main event is a scenic 5K run/walk that goes through the vineyard and around the farm before finishing at the winery. The event is open to the public without a general entry fee; the only cost is participation in the 5K.
Registration, prizes and on-site activities
There are separate entry categories for the 5K with age-based pricing: an adult category, an under-21 category, and a 12-and-under category. Prices increase after November 21, 2025, and registration for the 12-and-under category ends on November 28, 2025. All participants receive a bag of goodies including a Wind Vineyards Reindeer Run shirt. Prizes for the 21-and-up category include bottles of wine for top finishers and a wine case raffle; under-21 winners receive non-alcoholic prizes. A portion of proceeds will be donated to local Christian organizations to provide Christmas presents for underprivileged children. The event program also lists on-site activities such as Christmas tree and wreath sales, a vendor fair, music and food, a monster ride truck, children’s activities, a visit from Santa, and a bonfire with s'mores.
