Winnie's Way Rescue Run

Winnie's Way 5k Rescue Run is held at the Arthur Ray Teague Boat Launch in Bossier City, Louisiana. The event offers a 5k race and a 1/2 mile fun run, plus a Lazy Dawg Sleep-in option for supporters who want to help without running. The course is a simple out-and-back along the bike path starting from the boat launch.

Proceeds support Winnie’s Wish, providing care and loving homes for rescue dogs with special needs. The day includes post-race refreshments, awards, and opportunities to meet adoptable pets from local rescues. Dogs on leashes are welcome, with race rules following RRCA guidelines.
