Event overview
The Witches Wave Halloween Run is set for October 12, 2025, at Huntington State Beach, Lot 10 (east entrance at Pacific Coast Hwy and Beach Blvd). The event offers multiple race options:

- Pumpkin Kids Dash
Races are chip-timed. All finishers receive a finisher medal and a sustainable event shirt. There are awards for top overall finishers and age group divisions, with prizes for the top three male and female finishers in each distance. The event includes a costume contest and a "Witch’s Cackle" contest, plus themed race-day activities.
Logistics and race features
Packet pickup is available before race day at Road Runner Sports in Costa Mesa on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 (4:00 PM–7:00 PM); race day pickup is available at the event site. Parking is at Huntington State Beach Lot 10; the state park charges $15 per vehicle. Limited metered street parking and a nearby parking structure at Pacific City are listed as alternatives.
Courses use open pedestrian pathways such as beach paths and park loops and are car-free. The event provides free downloadable race photos, a DJ and finish-line festival, trick-or-treat and other family activities, and volunteer opportunities where volunteers earn a free race entry.
