Women's Trail Festival

The Women's Trail Festival, held at Freedom Park in Williamsburg, VA, is a two-day event featuring both competitive and noncompetitive trail running and hiking options. Participants can choose between a challenging 10-mile loop course with 700 feet of elevation gain, including single track mountain bike trails, paved sections, and doubletrack, or an 8k course that shares part of the 10-mile route. The festival offers a supportive atmosphere with educational talks, exercise classes like yoga and strength training, and social events including wine and beer gatherings.

All finishers receive medals, and proceeds support local charities. The event is Trail Sisters approved and welcomes men as volunteers or participants running in honor of women. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
