Womp Romp is a trail race set for October 25, 2025, at Wompatuck State Park in Hingham, MA. The event offers the following distances:
- 10 Mile
- 50K
Registration will be limited to 350 entrants. Entry fees listed are $50 for the 10 miler and $70 for the 50K. Organizers state that all profits will be donated to charity partners: Friends of Wompatuck, Free to Run, and Footprints. Participants who register by September 24, 2025, receive a long sleeve technical shirt. 10 miler finishers receive a patch; 50K finishers receive a finisher mug.
Course and race services
The 10 mile distance is a one-loop course; the 50K is three loops plus an extra mile. Each loop mixes single track, wider trails, and some pavement; about 2 miles per loop are paved. Mud is expected on the course. The race uses three aid stations located at the start/finish area, mile 3.141592 (no bathroom), and mile 6 (bathrooms at the visitor center). Aid station supplies include water, NAAK, candy, chips, pickles, fruit, broth, and contributions brought by participants. This is a cupless race, so runners are required to carry a personal fluid container such as a hand-held or collapsible cup. A 9 hour course cutoff applies to the event.
