Xterra Ex2
The XTERRA EX2 is an off-road triathlon and duathlon event held annually at Rocky Gap State Park in Flintstone, Maryland. The 21st edition, part of the XTERRA World Tour, features a challenging course set in scenic mountain terrain. The triathlon includes a two-lap swim in a warm mountain lake, followed by two laps of a mountain bike course with lakeside singletrack, fire roads, grassy sections, and rock gardens.
The race finishes with a 5.5-mile trail run featuring rooty paths, open flats, and varied elevation. The duathlon starts with a 2.7-mile semi-technical trail run before the bike and run segments.
