YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon & Fun Runs
The event is the 48th annual YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon and Fun Runs. Races are held in Boise and take place on the flat Boise Greenbelt. The event is a USATF certified Boston qualifying course (USATF: ID25001LAB). Due to construction at the BSU Stadium, the start and finish are set at The Morrison Center, 2201 W Cesar Chavez Ln, Boise, ID 83725. Packet pick up and course maps are provided by the organizer.

Entry prices listed for the main events include: Marathon $90, Half Marathon $70, 10K $35, and 5K $35. The Marathon is open to participants aged 16 and older; the Half Marathon is open to participants aged 14 and older. Registration for the listed events opens November 3, 2025 at 8:00am MST. A separate Saint Alphonsus Capitol Classic Kids Run, one mile, is offered for children 14 and under and uses a course beginning in front of the State Capitol.
