About the race
Young Hearts 4 Heroes is a community running event held in Alexandria, Minnesota, at the Alexandria Shooting Park (6533 County Road 87, Alexandria, MN 56308). Participants can choose a 5K run or a 1-mile march/walk themed around honoring veterans, including the chance to “march one mile in a soldier’s boots.” The event is a collaboration between Sacred Journey Academy and the Veterans Memorial Honor Guard, uniting generations to teach about the cost of freedom and living intentionally. Proceeds support programs for both organizations that help develop tomorrow’s leaders who honor today’s veterans.
