YRRC Winter Series overview
The York Road Runners Club Winter Series is a multi-venue running series held across York County during the 2025-2026 season. The series includes nine main races at different locations and a one mile event at each venue. Main event distances range from 5 kilometers up to 10 miles. Races listed for the series include events in Dover, Glen Rock, Dallastown, York, Jacobus, Manchester, Hanover, and other local venues with specific dates in November 2025 through February 2026. Course maps are provided and are subject to change for construction, road closures, or weather. Chip timing is used, and restrooms are available at all venues. Races over 4 miles will have a water station. Dogs and strollers are not permitted for the 2025/2026 series.
Series format, entry, and rules
One registration covers participation in the nine main events and/or nine one mile races. Participants receive assigned bibs which must be worn for each race; participants running both the one mile and the main event receive two bibs. Lost or forgotten bibs incur a $5 fee. Age group for scoring is fixed based on age as of November 16, 2025. Points are awarded by age-group placement (10 points for 1st, down to 1 point for 10th) and are tallied for series awards by gender and age-category. Early bib pickup is offered at local running stores on specified November dates. The series offers apparel ordering, participation swag for volunteers and those who attend 5 or more races, and post-series awards. Race-day payment options include Venmo or check.
