Event overview
The Yuma Territorial Marathon is scheduled for January 31, 2026, in Somerton, Arizona, with the start and finish at Cocopah Casino & Resort. The event offers multiple race options and is organized by a local civic group. The marathon course is certified by USATF and is listed as a Boston Marathon qualifier. Course, distances and entry
The course is an out-and-back route run on the shoulder of US Highway 95. Runners leave the Cocopah Indian Reservation, pass through Somerton, continue through Gadsden and into San Luis city limits, then return north to finish at Cocopah Casino & Resort. The route has minimal elevation change, with an initial net downhill of about 74 feet and a slight uphill section near the finish.
