About the race
Zoom Angel Island is a trail running event on Angel Island, accessible via chartered ferries from Tiburon, California, offering spectacular views of Marin County and San Francisco. Distances include 5 miles, 10 miles, 15 miles, plus a Kids Run (free). The hilly course circles the island and climbs Mount Livermore, with elevation gains of 810', 1,380', and 1,840'.
Course marking uses orange, yellow, and pink flagging for summit, middle, and perimeter loops, plus polka-dot turns and blue wrong-way ribbons. Surfaces are mostly single-track and dirt roads, with some asphalt. Fully stocked aid stations every 5 miles; cupless policy; post-run picnic at Ayala Cove; no dogs allowed.
