5k on the Greenway

The 5K on the Greenway is an annual running event held in Mount Airy, NC, co-hosted by the Reeves Community Foundation and Mount Airy City Schools. This popular race, now in its 20th year, features a scenic course that starts at Riverside Park and follows the Granite City Greenway. Participants can choose between a 5K run/walk and a 1/2 Mile Fun Run, welcoming runners, walkers, and strollers alike.

All participants receive a custom finisher's medal, and awards are given for top finishers in various categories. Proceeds from the event support local educational initiatives. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
