5K to End HIV
The Walk to End HIV 2025, organized by Whitman-Walker Health, is the 39th annual event featuring both a walk and a 5K run held at Anacostia Park in Washington, DC. This community-focused event gathers around 1,000 participants to raise funds and awareness to combat HIV. The event supports critical programs, including HIV and STI testing and research, especially important due to recent federal funding cuts.
The Walk to End HIV fosters a hopeful and inspiring atmosphere, encouraging participants to fundraise and unite in the fight to reduce HIV stigma and work toward a cure. It is part of the larger $1.5 million "Stand with Whitman-Walker" campaign. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
