Journey to ExSCellence 5K Walk/Run

Journey to ExSCellence 5K Walk/Run 2025, held at Walker Mill Regional Park in District Heights, Maryland, offers a 5K in-person walk/run plus a virtual option. The event aims to amplify the voice of Sickle Warriors, raise awareness of Sickle Cell Disease, and educate communities about the challenges faced by those affected. Participants can learn about the disease, be inspired by the journeys of SCD warriors, and join a supportive, community-focused effort to recognize challenges and celebrate excellence.
