6 Hours of Power (Alum Creek State Park)

Website Registration

6 Hours of Power at Alum Creek State Park takes place at the Marina (4000 Hollenback Rd) in Lewis Center, Ohio. Runners attempt to complete as many 5K loops as possible in six hours; finishing four loops officially completes the race, with results based on total loops completed. The course is a trail and mixed-terrain loop starting and finishing at the Marina, with about 100 feet of elevation gain per loop and marked by flags and cones.

Notable features include no water station on the course—aid is available at Start/Finish before each loop—plus sponsor support, a competitive points system, and finishers medals and shirts. The event highlights Alum Creek’s inland beach setting and shale cliffs and is run under state park authorization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
