9/11 Hero Run

The 9/11 Hero Run is a 5K event held in Wartburg, Tennessee, designed to honor the strength, perseverance, and courage of local first responders including firefighters, police, EMTs, 911 operators, veterans, and the National Guard, along with their families. This non-competitive run is not timed and does not offer awards. Participants receive a white t-shirt, wristband, and sunglasses on race day at the Morgan County Tourism Alliance location.

The event fosters a supportive atmosphere where runners come together to show appreciation for their local heroes. Proceeds from the run benefit first responders in the community. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
