Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet

Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet takes place at the Trailhead in Theodore Wirth Park, Minneapolis, along Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ (Bassett Creek). The event offers 6-hour and 12-hour formats for solo runners or a four-person relay, with participants running or hiking to complete as many 5-mile loops as possible. A Little Loopet provides a kids’ option, and a non-timed 1 Loop Fun Run/Walk is also offered.

All races start and finish at the Trailhead and culminate in an Indigenous People’s Festival featuring Native vendors, artists, storytellers, and Dakota cultural activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
