Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet

The Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet is an engaging running event that celebrates Dakota culture and traditions along Bassett Creek, known as Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ. Participants can choose to run or walk solo or in teams for 6 or 12 hours, completing as many 5-mile loops as possible. The event also features a Little Loopet for kids and a 1 Loop Fun Run/Walk, promoting community involvement.

Starting and finishing at the Trailhead, the event includes an Indigenous People’s festival with Native vendors, artists, and educational activities, fostering a deeper connection with the land and its heritage. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
