Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet

Website Registration

Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet is a trail-running and hiking event held at the Trailhead in Theodore Wirth Park. Participants choose 6-hour or 12-hour formats, running or walking as many 5-mile loops as possible, solo or with a relay team of up to four. A Little Loopet offers a kid-friendly option, and a 1-loop Fun Run/Walk is untimed.

All events begin and finish at the Trailhead, with an Indigenous People’s Festival featuring Native vendors, chefs, artists, storytellers, and partners. The event includes Dakota foods at aid stations, pacer rules, and a focus on Dakota language and culture; proceeds benefit the Loppet Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
