Akron Marathon

Located in Downtown Akron, the FirstEnergy Akron Marathon, Half Marathon & Team Relay is the marquee event of the Akron Marathon Race Series. The course is a foot-tour through the heart of Akron, winding past landmarks such as Akron Art Museum, University of Akron, Firestone Park, the Towpath Trail, Sand Run Parkway, Stan Hywet Estate and Highland Square, finishing on the Blue Line at Lock 3. Distances include marathon, half marathon, and a team relay, with a festive atmosphere for runners, walkers, volunteers, and spectators through urban streets and Summit Metro Parks.
