About the race
The Al Briede Gold Cup takes place on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in New Orleans' Metairie Cemetery, located at 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard. The 57th edition offers a 5K and a half-mile race (with a 5K NOTC Family option and a 1/2-Mile for youth under 13). The course runs through the cemetery, one of the city’s most beautiful landmarks, and the event honors a famed local athlete and community leader.
