Al Briede Gold Cup

The Al Briede Gold Cup is an annual running event held in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the historic Metairie Cemetery. The 57th edition, scheduled for November 16, 2025, features a 5K race and a half-mile race for participants aged 13 and under. The event honors a legendary local athlete and community leader, with proceeds supporting the Al Briede Gold Cup Foundation, which provides scholarships to local high school students and supports the New Orleans Track Club.
