Corporate Classic 5K : event details
The Corporate Classic is a 5K (3.1 miles) held on November 8, 2025 in New Orleans City Park (Practice Track, 12 Palm Dr, New Orleans, LA 70124). The event is produced by the Crescent City Classic and the YMCA of Greater New Orleans and benefits the YMCA Adult Literacy Program. The Corporate Classic serves as the only 5K qualifier for the Crescent City Classic 10K on April 4, 2026; finishing in under 27:00 qualifies a participant for a seeded starting corral. Seeded corral time bands listed for the 10K are: A : 17:30 and under; B : 17:31 to 20:00; C : 20:01 to 22:30; D : 22:31 to 27:00.
Participants receive a race bib with timing chip, a Corporate Classic t-shirt, and a finisher's medal. The event includes a post-race fest with live music, food, beer and other beverages, and is open to individuals and to teams.
Registration, teams and services
Registration fees: $40 through 2025-09-30; $45 from 2025-10-01 to 2025-11-01; $50 from 2025-11-02 to 2025-11-08. A free Kids Zone reservation is available (children must be potty trained; child care provided by certified YMCA staff). Packet pick-up options: Wednesday 11/5/25, 12:00 pm–3:00 pm at Raising Cane's (4036 Vets Blvd); Thursday 11/6/25, 5:00 pm–7:00 pm at Cafe DuMonde in City Park (56 Dreyfous Dr); race day pick-up at the registration tent.
Teams may include up to six members. Corporate divisions are by employer size: Division I (over 500), Division II (101–500), Division III (up to 100); an Open Division is available for non-corporate teams. Individual and team awards are given across overall, masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters, and age groups. Tent packages for race fest are offered in three sizes and prices: 20' x 20' $650; 15' x 15' $550; 10' x 10' $450. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
