Algoma Shanty Days 5K Run/Walk

The Algoma Shanty Days 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly event held in Algoma, Wisconsin, featuring a scenic 5K course that starts and finishes behind the Robert Ray Gallery. Participants run past local landmarks including the Von Stiehl Cider Bar, historic Von Stiehl Winery, and cross the Second and Fourth Street bridges with views of the last remaining shanties. The route continues through neighborhoods, past arts and crafts vendors, and finishes with a downhill stretch along the Lake Michigan shoreline to Algoma High School.

The event also includes a fun Kids SuperHero Run, where children can run alongside popular superheroes.
