Run Wild : October 10, 2026
Run Wild is organized by Friends of Potawatomi State Park and takes place at Potawatomi State Park on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The event program includes a youth fun run and road-distance options for adults and families.
- 1/3 mile Smokey Bear Fun Run (ages 2-10)
- 5K Hybrid Run/Walk
- 10K Run
Registration and event logistics
Registration is offered online and as in-person on-site registration on the day of the event; mailed registrations are accepted through September 30. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Bay Shore Outfitters and on race morning at the park; shipping of packets or items is not available. Entry fees are: 5K $35 before September 20 and $40 after; 10K $45 before September 20 and $50 after; Smokey Bear Fun Run $15. Pets are not allowed at the event. Medal awards are given for first, second and third place in each of these age groups: 1-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 plus.
